You don't change your style by changing your bag. You change it with your clothes.
My parents instilled a really good work ethic from when I was little — if you want to have money to spend on holidays, you earn it. So I've always been someone who wanted to be able to survive by myself, but I think you have to let down the barriers a little bit — let other people in.
Do what you love doing.
If you walk down the street and smile at someone, that will get passed on to the next person. That has the power to change someone's day.
Success makes so many people hate you. I wish it wasn't that way. It would be wonderful to enjoy success without seeing envy in the eyes of those around you.
You choose to be happy, and in life we have as many good days as bad days. I try to find and record those songs that pull you through the bad days, and keep you believing that the good days are just around the corner.
Pause today and notice something you have worked hard on and recognize yourself for it. Acknowledge your effort.
Be kind. It's worthwhile to make an effort to learn about other people and figure out what you might have in common with them. If you allow yourself to be somewhat curious — and if you get into the habit of doing that — it's the first step to being open minded and realizing that your points of view aren't totally opposite.

It is funny that men who are supposed to be scientific cannot get themselves to realise the basic principle of physics, that action and reaction are equal and opposite, that when you persecute people you always rouse them to be strong and stronger.
If you watch a game, it's fun. If you play it, it's recreation. If you work at it, it's golf.
