Over and over I marvel at the blessings of my life: Each year has grown better than the last.
In this financial year we will be spending at least $1.5 billion on foreign aid and we cannot be sure that this money will be properly spent, as corruption and mismanagement in many of the recipient countries are legend.

I am so excited this year getting to play the 85th Anniversary Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. I always start my New Year at church with my family. I see it as a fresh beginning — like a new chance we get to renew our lives, perhaps? Starting it by praying gives me a lot of hope for the future.
My mother loved entertaining, and I've followed suit, so we have big celebrations for New Year, Passover, Thanksgiving and birthdays.
