Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better.
I have seen many storms in my life. Most storms have caught me by surprise, so I had to learn very quickly to look further and understand that I am not capable of controlling the weather, to exercise the art of patience and to respect the fury of nature.
Look out into the universe and contemplate the glory of God. Observe the stars, millions of them, twinkling in the night sky, all with a message of unity, part of the very nature of God.
Being sad and being depressed are two different things. Also, people going through depression don't look so, while someone sad will look sad. The most common reaction is, 'How can you be depressed? You have everything going for you. You are the supposed number one heroine and have a plush home, car, movies... What else do you want?'
You look at things you enjoy in your life, but much more important is what you can do to make the world a better place.
'Do you pray for the senators, Dr. Hale?' No, I look at the senators and I pray for the country.
Always look at what you have left. Never look at what you have lost.
