Jesus isn't lettin' you off the hook. The Scriptures don't let you off the hook so easily... When people say, you know, 'Good teacher', 'Prophet', 'Really nice guy' ... this is not how Jesus thought of Himself.
People will buy anything that is "one to a customer".
The fact is Canadians understand that immigration, that people fleeing for their lives, that people wanting to build a better life for themselves and their kids is what created Canada, it's what created North America.
The power of youth is the common wealth for the entire world. The faces of young people are the faces of our past, our present and our future. No segment in the society can match with the power, idealism, enthusiasm and courage of the young people.
So many people try to grow up too fast, and it's not fun! You should stay a kid as long as possible!
People in the street will either call me 'Prime Minister' or 'Justin'. We'll see how that goes. But when I'm working, when I'm with my staff in public, I'm 'Prime Minister'. I say that if we're drinking beer out of a bottle, and you can see my tattoos, you should be comfortable calling me 'Justin'.
I was always complaining that there weren't enough good people going into public service, so I figured I had to get behind someone I found so compelling.
I think it's important to get your surroundings as well as yourself into a positive state — meaning surround yourself with positive people, not the kind who are negative and jealous of everything you do.
As you get older and wiser you realize that when people are given anything without having to earn it (unless they are physically or mentally utterly incapable of earning anything), they become ungrateful and lazy. They also become less happy.
You know, people want to honor me, and on the one hand I just don't want to be a poster child; but on the other, I want to do something classy and great — something where the residuals will go to the cause.
People are going to come into your life that need you, and being there for them makes the day worth living. People are going to come into your life that you need, and that's the really crazy thing.

Human kindness has never weakened the stamina or softened the fiber of a free people. A nation does not have to be cruel to be tough.
Good-looking people are always looking for other good-looking people.
It is the will of the American people that we have a right to protect our flag and this can only be accomplished by passing a Constitutional amendment.
People who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do.
To be at acting school, it was kind of the first time you felt the freedom to be as much of yourself as you wanted. People weren't going to judge you.
Every New Year comes with a list of predictions. Self-predictions, world predictions, how many times Lindsay Lohan will get arrested predictions, etc. I reserve the annual trend for people with genuine psychic ability and/or bloggers.
