Beauty has so many forms, and I think the most beautiful thing is confidence and loving yourself.
Bid me to love, and I will give a loving heart to thee.
The world's a mean place. It's unfair, then it's fair. It's hateful, then it's loving. It's a very peculiar place on philosophical and metaphysical and religious levels.
Loving oneself isn't hard, when you understand who and what 'yourself' is. It has nothing to do with the shape of your face, the size of your eyes, the length of your hair or the quality of your clothes. It's so beyond all of those things and it's what gives life to everything about you. Your own self is such a treasure.
Take a leap of faith and begin this wondrous new year by believing. Believe in yourself. And believe that there is a loving Source — a Sower of Dreams — just waiting to be asked to help you make your dreams come true.
Once the realization is accepted that even between the closest human beings infinite distances continue, a wonderful living side by side can grow, if they succeed in loving the distance between them which makes it possible for each to see the other whole against the sky.
In general, the mass media tell us that black people are not loving, that our lives are so fraught with violence and aggression that we have no time to love.
