A good teacher who can take the zero pay and help kids develop physically, emotionally, socially, is literally an angel.
Technology is just a tool. In terms of getting the kids working together and motivating them, the teacher is the most important.
Every single thing that you learn really just gives you more comfort. It's something I counsel kids all the time: if someone is willing to teach you something for free, take them up on it. Do it. Every single time. All it does is make you more likely to be able to succeed. And it's kind of a nice way to go through life.
I was bused to a school in Gerritsen Beach in Brooklyn in 1972. I was one of the first black kids in the history of the school.
I love kids a lot. I love to spend time with them. They give me the energy to live, and I would love to bring a smile on their faces.

Do you know what you call those who use towels and never wash them, eat meals and never do the dishes, sit in rooms they never clean, and are entertained till they drop? If you have just answered, 'A house guest', you're wrong because I have just described my kids.
A good wife is someone who thinks she has done everything right: raising the kids, being there for the husband, being home, trying to do it all.
Don't tell your kids you had an easy birth or they won't respect you. For years I used to wake up my daughter and say, 'Melissa you ripped me to shreds. Now go back to sleep'.
