Motto
My life motto is 'Do my best, so that I can't blame myself for anything.'
My motto is: more good times.
'No one can make you successful; the will to success comes from within'. I've made this my motto. I've internalized it to the point of understanding that the success of my actions and/or endeavors doesn't depend on anyone else, and that includes a possible failure.
This has always been a motto of mine: Attempt the impossible in order to improve your work.
As young West Point cadets, our motto was 'duty, honor, country'. But it was in the field, from the rice paddies of Southeast Asia to the sands of the Middle East, that I learned that motto's fullest meaning. There I saw gallant young Americans of every race, creed and background fight, and sometimes die, for 'duty, honor, and their country'.
