The brain is a wonderful organ; it starts working the moment you get up in the morning and does not stop until you get into the office.
Wherever men and women are persecuted because of their race, religion, or political views, that place must — at that moment — become the center of the universe.

I can handle a piece of fear, depression, anger, pain, sadness, loneliness, illness. I actually put my hands up to my face, one next to each eye, like blinders on a horse.
When you read about the lives of other people, people of different circumstances or similar circumstances, you are part of their lives for that moment. You inhabit their lives, and you feel what they're feeling, and that is compassion. If we see that reading does allow us that, we see how absolutely essential reading is.
When a moment in front of me appears to be particularly special, whether it be by beauty or experience, I capture it. I usually find a reason to justify taking that photo — symmetry, or color, or contrast — and it's my hope that my photography sheds light onto what I see and do on a daily basis.
Mix a little foolishness with your serious plans. It is lovely to be silly at the right moment.
You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment.
Remember this: classics never make a comeback. They wait for that perfect moment to take the spotlight from overdone, tired trends.
It is not easy to be a pioneer — but oh, it is fascinating! I would not trade one moment, even the worst moment, for all the riches in the world.
You can't let one bad moment spoil a bunch of good ones.
