You don't choose your family. They are God's gift to you, as you are to them.
I am blessed to have so many great things in my life - family, friends and God. All will be in my thoughts daily.
If you want to be original just try being yourself, because God has never made two people exactly alike.

I pray to be a good servant to God, a father, a husband, a son, a friend, a brother, an uncle, a good neighbor, a good leader to those who look up to me, a good follower to those who are serving God and doing the right thing.
When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say, 'I used everything you gave me'.
Every day, I get closer to God. Every day, my will to do the right thing gets stronger.
God created the heavens and the earth, the oceans and the waves for our enjoyment. Surfing is just my way of worshipping Him.
Perhaps nothing helps us make the movement from our little selves to a larger world than remembering God in gratitude. Such a perspective puts God in view in all of life, not just in the moments we set aside for worship or spiritual disciplines. Not just in the moments when life seems easy.
My dad said, 'Stay humble, and you gotta work harder than everybody else'. My mom said, 'Always be yourself'. She always told me only God can judge me.
