God gave us the gift of life; it is up to us to give ourselves the gift of living well.
Don't ever criticize yourself. Don't go around all day long thinking, 'I'm unattractive, I'm slow, I'm not as smart as my brother.' God wasn't having a bad day when he made you... If you don't love yourself in the right way, you can't love your neighbour. You can't be as good as you are supposed to be.
Mother is the name for God in the lips and hearts of little children.
God's mercy is fresh and new every morning.
God has blessed me with an amazing family, friends and work colleagues that have been my joy, my support, and my sanity. I don't know what I'd do without them.
When you make a mistake and the devil comes and tells you 'You're no good', you don't have to take on the guilt and condemnation he wants to put on you. No! You can immediately confess your mistake to God, thank Him for forgiving you and cleansing you with the blood of Jesus, and move forward in the victory of His grace and forgiveness.
There is but One God. His name is Truth; He is the Creator. He fears none; he is without hate. He never dies; He is beyond the cycle of births and death. He is self-illuminated. He is realized by the kindness of the True Guru. He was True in the beginning; He was True when the ages commenced and has ever been True. He is also True now.
Cloning is great. If God made the original, then making copies should be fine.
We must return to nature and nature's god.
What a blessing that God allows a life to come through your body, and then allows you to place that body in a body bag and take it out. I had to say that there's a magnificent something that God has for me to do, to give me that level of completion. That level of experience. It's unspeakable.
I am not a conventionally religious man, but in the wilderness I have come closest to finding myself and knowing the universe and accepting God — by which I mean accepting all that I don't know.
I believe that God put us in this jolly world to be happy and enjoy life.
It is not fitting, when one is in God's service, to have a gloomy face or a chilling look.
We consider Christmas as the encounter, the great encounter, the historical encounter, the decisive encounter, between God and mankind. He who has faith knows this truly; let him rejoice.
The Christian life is not a constant high. I have my moments of deep discouragement. I have to go to God in prayer with tears in my eyes, and say, 'O God, forgive me', or 'Help me'.
God made man to go by motives, and he will not go without them, any more than a boat without steam or a balloon without gas.
The Bible is one of the greatest blessings bestowed by God on the children of men. It has God for its author; salvation for its end, and truth without any mixture for its matter. It is all pure.
Everything that has happened to me in my life has defined who I am, and all of the things leading up to being governor, that all came from overcoming challenges in childhood and overcoming challenges as I got older. When you have God, you quickly understand there's nothing you can't overcome.
I am blessed to have so many great things in my life - family, friends and God. All will be in my thoughts daily.
If you want to be original just try being yourself, because God has never made two people exactly alike.
