Some days are just bad days, that's all. You have to experience sadness to know happiness, and I remind myself that not every day is going to be a good day, that's just the way it is!
The connection to place, to the land, the wind, the sun, stars, the moon... it sounds romantic, but it's true — the visceral experience of motion, of moving through time on some amazing machine — a few cars touch on it, but not too many compared to motorcycles. I always felt that any motorcycle journey was special.
What I want to do with my filmmaking is help kids experience the truth and wisdom of nature no matter where they are, whether or not they have the opportunity to go to a national park.
It is my sincere hope that every person in India will experience true freedom of faith, regardless of religion.
From my own experience, I want to say that you should follow your heart, and the mind will follow you. Believe in yourself, and you will create miracles.
The African-American experience is one of the most important threads in the American tapestry.
