Death is the sound of distant thunder at a picnic.
Music is the movement of sound to reach the soul for the education of its virtue.
The temple bell stops but I still hear the sound coming out of the flowers.
Not to sound corny, but intelligence is big. Everything fades, and everything can be modified. But intelligence is something you can't fake. I'm not even talking about whether you can read a thesaurus backwards. But there is a beauty in common sense.
I kept listening to albums where I'd hear this very joyful sound — and it was always the glockenspiel. Then I ordered one online, and I figured out how to play it.
Feelings aroused by the touch of someone's hand, the sound of music, the smell of a flower, a beautiful sunset, a work of art, love, laughter, hope and faith — all work on both the unconscious and the conscious aspects of the self, and they have physiological consequences as well.
I don't follow anything blindly. I have to know the entire thing, if I have to get in to it. It might sound funny to you, but it's like using English language. I use an English word only when I know its meaning and understand its connotation. You won't hear me say, 'What's up, dude' or anything like that just for the heck of it.
The first issue of The Register was printed in London, and gave a glowing account of the province that was to be — its climate, its resources, the sound principles on which it was founded.
