Each day offers us the gift of being a special occasion if we can simply learn that as well as giving, it is blessed to receive with grace and a grateful heart.
It's easy to look at the things of this world to solve our challenges and obstacles in life, but when we submit our lives to Christ, His grace, mercy, peace and love will bring true fulfillment to our lives.
Grace is available for each of us every day — our spiritual daily bread — but we've got to remember to ask for it with a grateful heart and not worry about whether there will be enough for tomorrow.
The elements that create glamour are not specific styles — bias-cut gowns or lacquered furniture — but more general qualities: grace, mystery, transcendence. To the right audience, Halle Berry is more glamorous commanding the elements as Storm in the X-Men movies than she is walking the red carpet in a designer gown.
God's mercy and grace give me hope — for myself, and for our world.
