Believe

I believe that whatever comes at a particular time is a blessing from God.
I believe in hard work, not luck factor. The best efforts will reap the best fruits. Nobody can take all the credit. We don't even talk about the efforts of the director, the writers, other technicians, etc. They all together take a film to another level.
You can have whatever you want if you believe in yourself and keep your feet firmly planted in the ground.
Don't tell me what you believe in. I'll observe how you behave and I will make my own determination.
Because of my upbringing, I believe in things like limited government, fiscal responsibility and personal accountability. I believe in the wisdom of our founders and the sanctity of our Constitution.
I don't believe in revenge. When people are bullies it's because of a deeper-rooted issue — either their family life is tough or they're being bullied by someone bigger than they are.

I don't believe in 'thinking' old. Although I've transitioned through many bodies — a baby, toddler, child, teen, young adult, mid-life and older adult — my spirit is unchanged. If it's uncontrolled, you kill people, but you have to be pretty arrogant to saw through a person's chest, take out their heart and believe you can fix it. Then, when you succeed and the patient survives, you pray, because it's only by the grace of God that you get there.
I read everything aloud, novels as well as picture books. I believe the eye and ear are different listeners. So as writers, we have to please both.

The big mistake that men make is that when they turn thirteen or fourteen and all of a sudden they've reached puberty, they believe that they like women. Actually, you're just horny. It doesn't mean you like women any more at twenty-one than you did at ten.
If you don't believe in yourself, then who will believe in you? The next man's way of getting there might not necessarily work for me, so I have to create my own ways of getting there.
I always believe that if you feel good and look happy, you're always going to be beautiful. My one actual beauty trick is pretty cliche: Never, ever go to bed with your makeup on.
